Ancient Arts Center's Conservation Project
Ancient Arts in Seattle is the first manifestation of a long-felt vision to create a global network of healing arts centers that celebrates and revitalizes the traditional healing systems of local regions, to empower the people to help sustain health for themselves and their lands, animals, and elements.
The vision is to create a world-wide community where we can share these nearly-forgotten healing traditions such as herbalism, acupuncture, qi gong, reiki, meditation, being in tune with nature, and celebrating the creative spark that animates us all. When we acknowledge that spark in each living being that we meet, we create space to allow all our soul's expression and life purpose to blossom.
Paintings, jewelry, pottery and other handmade items created by Dr. Darla Rewers and other independent artists are available for sale to help fund conservation projects. Specifically, Dr. Rewers intends to study zoopharmacognosy, or which plants big cats use in the wild for medicine and nutrition. Support our efforts by buying art! All proceeds from sales of paintings go toward this project.
